Do you know someone worthy?

Each year the St Bernard's College Foundation inducts a new person into the College Hall of Fame.

Inductees are people who fulfil the following criteria:

Record of achievement in curricular and co-curricular pursuits whilst a student at the College.
Demonstrated record of achievement, recognition or community profile within chosen vocation(s), activities, or areas of community service since leaving the College.
Record of dedicated service to religious and community service organisations whose mission is consistent with the ethos of the College, and in which case the achievements of the candidate may not necessarily be widely known.
Affirmation from Foundation that potential inductee has achieved success within chosen vocation(s) and community involvements in a manner that is consistent with the catholic ethos of the College.

The St Bernard's College Foundation is looking to raise $22,000 for the start of 2022. This would allow us to achieve our goal of raising $100,000 for the St Bernard's College Scholarship and Bursary Fund.

We are encouraging Old Collegians to consider one of the following gifts for our 22K for 2K22 campaign.

Reunions are back for 2022!

After a particularly challenging two years, we are excited to announce that we will have the opportunity to hold Reunions again in 2022.

We have made the decision to hold individual events for all groups that have missed out due to COVID over the last two years.

From the Community - Brendan Scarce (SBC 1954')

A teaser this week as we'll get a chance to interview Old Collegian Brendan Scarce and hear more of his story,

Brendan has published a book, A Life Lived in Love: From Orphan to Advocate and has devoted chapter 5 pages 48 - 53 to his time at St Bernard's College - Well worth a read.

Around the College - Starting 2022 well

The College is bubbling with life again as we close out the first week of Term 1. It is fantastic to have our students back in particular a warm welcome to our Year 7 students.

Construction of the new senior building is steaming ahead and we are on track for a 2023 opening as planned.

The College has also entered into an agreement to take over Resurrection House, expanding our current facilities and providing more opportunity's for our students - Dr Michael Davies goes into further detail in the video below.

We are looking forward to a massive 2022 for St Bernard's!
