SPORT AT ST BERNARD’S COLLEGE

St Bernard’s College is a member of the Associated Catholic Colleges (ACC).

The Associated Catholic Colleges (ACC) is a strong and vibrant group of 12 Catholic secondary schools for boys. The Association caters for over 14,000 students in a wide range of activities.

The sporting program consists of weekly fixtured sport for all year levels, along with three major carnivals – athletics, swimming and cross country. There are also one day tournaments in golf and chess, along with Rally Days focussing on participation at junior level. The activities program encompasses debating, public speaking, music and leadership workshops, culinary competitions along with major events such as concerts and art & technology exhibitions.

St Bernard’s College has no organised sport on weekends and students are able to join any of the local clubs. St Bernard’s College has strong links with the following clubs;

• St Bernard’s Old Collegians Cricket Club
  
• St Bernard’s College Junior Football Club
  
• St Bernard’s College Senior Football Club
  
• St Bernard’s College Hockey Club

Many players at these clubs are both past and present St Bernard’s College students.
