Uniform Guidelines

St Bernard’s is proud of its uniform. The way it is worn is an important way of belonging to the school community. Students will receive a consequence if they attend school wearing incorrect uniform without a note from parent / caregiver. A note from a parent / caregiver is always required if the student is not in correct uniform (to cover a short period). The explanation must be of a reasonable nature. In some circumstances, the parent / caregiver may be contacted, and the student sent home to rectify the problem.

Yr 12 Jumper	The Yr12 jumper may be worn at the discretion of the College. Students are still required to wear their blazer to/from school as their outer garment when wearing the Yr12 jumper.
Sport Team Issued Garments	The College acknowledges that various sporting or travel groups produce garments for team or travel use e.g., swimming, athletics, Italian study tour. However, these garments are not to be worn as a replacement for the uniform outlined above. Designs for sporting or travel groups are to be approved by the Leadership Team prior to production.
School Bag	Use of the College school bag with the College crest is compulsory for all students
